TruLight vs Haven: separate the roofline from the yard

Haven lists X Series roofline lighting, several landscape ranges, and Q Series backyard products. A claim about one family should not be applied to all of them. If you want both a lit roofline and a usable yard, ask Lifetime Lights to separate those parts of your Arizona lighting plan before comparing a Haven proposal.

Talk through your project

Compare each fixture family against the job it needs to do

Roofline scope

Identify the Haven roofline model being offered and compare it with the permanent TruLight installation, not with a landscape spotlight.

Ground-level light

Paths and steps need a fixture layout of their own. Do not count a bright roofline as equivalent coverage for the yard.

Coordinated controls

Ask to see how roofline and landscape settings are changed. One brand name does not prove every product shares identical behavior.

Create two drawings for a whole-property quote

Use one drawing for the building outline and another for the landscape. Mark where people walk, sit, and look out from the house. That separation helps you see whether one quote contains more fixtures or a different type of coverage. Lifetime Lights can discuss landscape options alongside the roofline, with fixture suitability and service availability confirmed for the property.

Test a quiet backyard setting

Color-changing lights can be entertaining, but a patio also needs a comfortable everyday scene. Ask for a demonstration that keeps the seating area calm while another part of the property uses color. Check the view from inside and avoid aiming light toward neighboring windows. The best choice for your plan may depend more on fixture placement than the longest feature list.

Compare the same property plan

  • Separate roofline and landscape equipment lists.
  • Fixture positions along paths and near steps.
  • A demonstration of the ordinary patio scene.
  • Clear model names for each product family.

Questions before you choose

Does a Haven roofline specification apply to its landscape lights?

Not automatically. Haven lists distinct product families. Compare the specific fixtures included in your proposal.

Can roofline lights replace path lights?

Not necessarily. Height, overhangs, and shadows affect ground-level coverage. Assess the walking route separately.
